There are true benefits to both sympathetic and parasympathetic Breathwork Journeys. Let's figure out which is right for you.
A sympathetic breathwork journey is the most popular type of Transformational Breathwork Journey and is the most active of the 2 choices. If you are looking to deal with past traumas, generational trauma, addictions, hang-ups, stressors and anxieties, PTSD and other major factors that are holding you back, this may very well be the best option for you. This type of journey includes a specific musical playlist along with intense verbal guidance and when done in person, can also include Somatic Healing Touch if you so choose.
But, that said...
IT'S NOT EASY BREATHING - THIS IS A TRUE - FULLY ACTIVE - INTENSE BREATHWORK JOURNEY.
There can be discomfort, major emotions can come up, your body will shake, your mind will fight you and your subconscious will take control. You never know what might come up but whatever does, it's exactly what is meant to.
Again, This Is Work... But It's Worth It
A Parasympathetic breathwork journey is a much more calm type of Transformational Breathwork Journey and is the least active of the 2 choices.
That said, don't let this fool you as there are still amazing breakthroughs that can come from this type of Journey as well. A Parasympathetic Breathwork Journey typically consists of 3 or 4 LSD (Low Slow Deep) breathing techniques with music and minimal verbal guidance beyond the breathing technique directions. This type of Journey allows you to go into an often Meditative state where some clients have been known to say that it's almost like floating. Others have had awesome breakthroughs and connected to their higher-self. You are the Guide & you are the Healer.
